Italy holds a special place in the hearts of many people. Whether that's because it's a stunning wedding location or a bucket list trip with friends, most can agree that there is something truly exceptional about its scenic towns and vibrant cities. For me, it is a homeland, a place where I can touch the soil my family once walked on before relocating to the United States. Recently, I had the privilege of living in Italy for the summer as part of a study abroad opportunity.
